I’m Coach Harvey, and I'm here to help you master the secondary literacy requirements in your curriculum.
  
I love helping teachers bloom, blossom, and bear fruit in the area of literacy (Jer. 17:7-8). 

Together, we set attainable goals, track progress, apply strategies and interventions, and celebrate each and every victory - no matter how small it may seem.   I even created a Facebook group to provide support and resources for other literacy educators!

My 25 years in education have allowed me to serve elementary, middle, and high school teachers and students across the Southeast.  I've spent that time helping to successfully design, develop, and implement all aspects and phases of K-12 education including technology integration and curriculum design. 

As a coach and secondary literacy consultant, I train and work alongside teachers to design effective literacy-rich lessons, analyze and act on data to make learning decisions, and use engaging classroom activities to motivate adolescents to grow and take ownership of their learning. 

Success doesn’t have to be a “happy accident”.  Educators achieve success by having a plan and the know-how to implement that plan.  My M.O.D.E.L. Educator Signature Program will take the worry out of literacy instruction and provide you with support, tools, and encouragement every step of the way.



Dr. Patryce Harvey is professional learning consultant, instructional coach, and speaker.  She is an alumnus of Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina.  She received a Doctor of Education in Reading and Literacy from Capella University.
